Welcome to Our World

Meet your host, Alan... and one of his pugs... BOO.

They are about to take you down the rabbit hole of UK politics and... yes... Scottish independence.

Sit back, get comfortable and enjoy the read.

It's serious stuff, but it doesn't have to be boring.

I am just a normal boring Scots man, who has to much time on my hands

I am a proud Scot. Born and raised here in Scotland. Working class to my core, and proud of it.

Like many of you, I fought hard for Yes in 2014. Knocked doors, had the arguments, carried the hope. And like many of you, I was gutted on the morning of the 19th September.

But I never gave up.

What kept me going was a simple question: If Westminster keeps saying no - no Section 30, no referendum, no say on our own future - what do other countries do?

I am not a lawyer. I am not a politician. I am just a Scotsman who got tired of going round in circles, so I started digging.

I went down a rabbit hole - the UN Charter, the International Covenants, how Norway left Sweden, how Slovenia, Ireland and Kosovo made the world listen.

And this is the result.

Scotlandsfuture.co.uk

It is not party political. It is my own research, in my own words, with sources so you can check it for yourself.

If you have ever felt we are stuck - this is for you.

Thanks for reading.

Alan
